Overview


New Zealand marine technology innovator Vessev was preparing to enter the Australian market and required a strategic media campaign to announce its expansion, alongside two major Australian customer partnerships in Perth and Hobart.


Strategy


Developed and executed a phased national media relations strategy designed to build momentum across multiple announcements and position Vessev as a leader in the future of sustainable marine transport.


The campaign initially launched with the Perth announcement, positioning the Swan River as a future test case for electric hydrofoiling transport in Australia. 


This was followed by the Hobart announcement, which focused on plans to create Australia’s largest electric hydrofoiling network.


Sydney was next, where media had the opportunity to experience the vessel first-hand on Sydney harbour.


Results

  • Secured more than 100 media articles across broadcast, business, travel, sustainability, technology and trade media

  • Positioned Vessev as a leading voice in the future of sustainable marine transport in Australia

  • Increased traffic to the Vessev website and generated multiple new business enquiries and partnership discussions
